Rain Announces Global Ambitions on CNN

K-pop star Rain¡¯s ambitions to take on the world became international news on Saturday when he announced them on CNN¡¯s Talk Asia.

Rain told the cable news channel about his ambition to make it on the world stage after sweeping in Hong Kong, China, Japan and elsewhere in Asia. The 23-year-old star said his personal motto was, ¡°Be humble, be patient, and do my best.

Talk Asia, hosted by Lorraine Hahn, who was born in Singapore to a Korean father and a Eurasian mother, has focused on heavyweights including former Korean president Kim Dae-jung, maestro Chung Myung-whun, soprano Jo Su-mi, Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra and Chinese film director Zhang Yimou.

Rain gave the interview on Oct. 9 in Hong Kong while on a concert tour there. The show airs seven times in all, the last time at 12:30 p.m. on Monday.

IJUKSA/Love to Kill Episode 5

So ok the kiss to the lips between my Bogku and Da-jeong did not push through but their next encounter was worth it.

He kissed her on the neck, not just once but twice with a resounding smack, hohoho, hahaha. I know Da-jeong is not the lead actress but I like her character better. My Bogku is smiling and happy in her company and it provides a relief from this rather depressing drama.

IJUKSA/Love to Kill Episode 4

Screen caps of Episode 4

My fave bodyguard
What can I do to release you from your sadness.....
Bog ku and Cha Eun seok

I can't wait for Episode 5 just to know if he indeed kissed Da-jung

This is my least favorite episode so far because I can't see some logic in the certain scenes.

Bogku dragged EunSeok from the car to the room of his brother in the hospital

obviously with the intention of making the girl realize what happened to his brother but had a change of heart at the very last instant leaving the girl wailing loudly (it's so irritating to my ears) just in front of the ward door. She wanted an answer so isn't it logical to look on what's beyond that door? I know I would since it's obvious that I'm meant to see something to the extent of being dgagged like a rag across the length of the hospital corridor. Instead she went down again and asked the "why" question to Bogku. I know they have to create more suspense but still..................

Mr. Clean is back with his endless toothbrushing. How I wish he would just spit the toothpaste first before talking cuz I can't help but cringe while watching him talk with his friend over the phone.

I have to wait for Monday to see what's next.....

Bogku's Monologue in Episode 3

No, I don’t remember
I don’t f**kin remember what you mean to me
Tell me not about your miserable and stupid love
I don’t care
Shut up and don’t mention about your sad love.
I don’t care
If you’re without power and money, you get deceived and deserted.
That’s life
Shut up. That’s enough.
You don’t recognize your own brother who waited for ten years.
All you want is that bitch.
I don’t want to be part of your f**kin life.
As you have your life.
I have mine.
Your pain, your sorrow, your anger, I don’t f**kin care, you bastard!
I’ll bring Cha EunSeok.
I’ll bring her to you.
If you cannot become like that bitch, that bitch must become like you.
More miserable than you are, worn out to tatters.
So, don’t run away. Don’t shun away. Just stay right here!
Don’t die, don’t go away. Cha EunSeok, until she comes and kneels to you.
You stay right here.

IJUKSA/Love to Kill Episode 1-3

Thanks to loving friends who uploaded Bi's latest drama complete with english subtitle, I was able to see his much awaited transformation. He already impressed me with his acting in Sangdoo but he took it a notch higher with Ijuksa.

Others are commenting that it has shades of Misa having the same director and Ireland only because of the opening scene. I can't really make a comment because I never watched the said dramas but the first episode had me wanting to see more. There are a lot of flashback scenes so some questions are left hanging and will only be answered during the next episode. Shin Mina is already established as a dramatic actress so I'm sure that she can bring out the best in Bi.

The 3rd episode shown last night in Korea already saw Bokgu's transformation as a bodyguard. He lost a lot of weight making him more lean and mean on the screen. One scene stood out for me - Bi giving a sponge bath to his older brother.

Done in black and white the eyes did more talking for them. I can already see an acting nomination for him next year.

The Kiss

Finally the screen kiss that I want to see from him. Something real and sizzling unlike the sissy kiss from FH. Ijuksa (Love to Kill) is getting more and more exciting and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he's acting will be recognized by the award giving bodies next year.
